Azafrán La Carrasca represents Teruel at Taste Spain France in Paris


Azafrán La Carrasca, a leading saffron producer from Teruel specialising in organic saffron and gourmet saffron-based products, recently took part in Taste Spain France, a prestigious exhibition organised by ICEX in collaboration with Aragón Exterior, Aragón Alimentos Nobles, and the Chambers of Commerce of Aragón.

Held in Paris, the event brought together a select group of Spanish companies aiming to strengthen their presence in the French market, particularly within the HORECA channel and specialised distribution. The initiative targets businesses looking to establish or consolidate exports to France, supported by the Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in Paris.

In a showroom format, Azafrán La Carrasca was provided with its own stand where it showcased up to eight references from its catalogue, highlighting its organic saffron from the Jiloca region and its range of gourmet products, including cheeses, oils, chocolates, and saffron-based supplements.

Alongside the exhibition, the event featured talks and tastings focused on Spanish gastronomy, providing a valuable meeting point for importers, distributors, food industry professionals, specialised press, and culinary experts.
Azafrán La Carrasca’s participation at Taste Spain France underlines its commitment to internationalisation and the promotion of Teruel and Aragón’s agri-food heritage, bringing Teruel’s “red gold” to new markets with quality, sustainability, and tradition.
